I was wanting to know what is the best printer for your money(not that expensive). One that just prints in B/W for two accounting people to share. Also, prints maybe 15-19 pgs per min. Laser printer

HP LJ 1200 would probably suit your needs. Jennifer Sigman
1/2 of the IT staff (does that make me assistant manager?)

I know this is the HP forum, but for personal laser printers I have recently been buying the Samsung ML-1210. We have had 2 now for about 3 months and are very happy with them. A very nice fast inexpensive ($200) printer. For this price you might just want to buy 2.

Jennifers, suggestion of the HP 1200 is good. About twice the price of the Samsung, but you get the HP name and support. Samsung also has a 14xx series that is a little faster and a little more expensive.

I also like the looks of the HP 2200D, but have no personal experience with it. Quite a bit more expensive ($750), but you get duplexing included and has both PCL and Postscript printer language included.

If you are both full time accountants and do a lot of printing I would probably lean toward the "heftier" HP 2200.

we use the HP all-in one units, fax/copy/scan/print in one machine, available from most retailers around 300.00 US
