I have a database built soley on the simple side of access that uses tables, queries, forms and some basic macros. I do not have any experience with the codes or any visual basic knowledge.

My problem is that every few days or so, the buttons on my forms just stop working? I am getting a message that says "module not found".

Unfortunately due to my limited understanding, I am only able to solve the problem by exporting my tables to a backup copy and starting again from there when this happens.

Can anyone help me eliminate this problem? Thanks!

To be honest I still consider myself a beginner also, but try this. Be sure your macros still have the same names. Give all macros different names. Then right click the button in design view and choose properties. Verify that OnClick says [Event Procedure] or the name of your macro.

Re-named all macros then checked all of the buttons. There are 8 of them and they were all created using the wizards, and still say [Event Procedure].

[Event Procedure] should reflect the name of the macro for that button. Match the buttons with the macro.
