Button to place a stamp?

Is there a way to program a button to place a stamp? So I want to be able to click a button and a stamp appears at a pre-determined position on the page. I am not a programmer, but I know how to cut and paste .

I found something that will work. I placed the stamp on a buttonA then I created two more buttons. One to hide buttonA and one to show buttonA. Maybe not as sophisticated as I'd like it to be, but hey, like I said, it works.

OK--I spoke too soon. The Action Show/hide a field is not working on Adobe on the iPhone. Back to the drawing board.

The Adobe Reader on iOS and Android is not as full featured as the desktop version. Do not expect interactive PDF files to behave the same on different platforms and with different applications.

Use caution if you think that interactive PDF is the best route for any given task. It is most often the 2nd best option.

OK--so what is the first option?

The first option is determined after you define the task and the audience (to yourself or to this forum). It is most likely a web form that feeds input to a database server. From there, you can output the data in any format you want, including PDF.
