Hello All:

Could someone please provide me some guidance on which button module is compatible with which module IP sets? I keep ordering the wrong ones and apparently I'm interpreting the documentation incorrectly. Thanks In Advance.

welll first off what sets do you have what version of cm are you on

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

9620, 9630, 9640, 9650, 9641G, 9608G, 1608, 1616 CM 5.2.1

so what have have you purchased so far for each set , ......have you added the ones you have purchased on the station form of the associated set

I've ordered a DBM32, was attempting to add to a 9608G

I believe a DBM32 is for a digital phone, a 9608 is an IP phone, good luck with that

What version of CM are you running?? But below info anyway

And also i believe a separate power block see below from the support site
9608, 9608G

. Attaching button modules requires the phone to be powered using a separate power supply.

If not being powered by PoE, these telephones do not support the former 1151 and 1152 series of Avaya single phone power supply units. Instead an Avaya Single Port PoE injector (SPPOE-1A) should be used.

Or make it easier on yourself and order 'extension module (or whatever) for Avaya model XXXX' and let your sales rep / accountmanager sort it out.
If he/she sends te wrong stuff it's their fault and not yours....
