I have a Magix system in key mode...

I have a 4406D+ phone.

I have a 412 LS-TDL board with lines 801 802 and 803 live.

I want the 3 right buttons to be:

top button == 801
middle button == 802
bottom button == 803

I'm new to this and am using WinSPM v6.0 to program
these phones.
Thanks in advance!

OK, here's what you have to know, and then what to do:

THIS IS HOW A 4406-TDL IS LAYED OUT

BUTTON 3 BUTTON 6
BUTTON 2 BUTTON 5
BUTTON 1 BUTTON 4

First, remove the lines from the 1st 4406 Set. (Ext > Lines)

Next, in CENTRAL PROGRAMMING, add Intercom/SA buttons to fill in buttons 1 2 & 3.

Now, add line 3, line 2 and finally line 1.

That should give the layout you want.

Of course, you will want to LINE COPY (Ext > Lines) and Button Copy (Central Programming) from that original to all other sets you want to be this way.

how do I get to central programming in WinSPM been trying to find that all morning?

It is on PAGE 2 of Standard SPM.

Anytime you see ">" at the top right of a page, that means there is "MORE". Thus, you need to press the "MORE" button (or the PAGE UP Button on your computer).

Thanks merlinman! that got it! It was painfull but worth it!
I've got a question tho....

in central programming there are no features called:

Ext Voice -1
Ext Ring -1

But as I have found there is a Feature "SysAccess" which gets me "Ext Ring -I" but no feature that gives me the "Ext Voice -I" on a button?
What am I missing?

Like so many others have stated this phone system responcibility was dumped on me cause I'm the IT guy and I'm supposed to know everything! NOT!!!!

Thanks again for your help!

If you want to learn more about the Legend/Magix PBXs, you can download documents for free from support.avaya.com. There are several "must have" manuals that could be helpful to you. The Feature Reference, the System Manager's Quick Reference Guide, The Planning Document, and the Installation manual, are just some of the stuff available for the download.

Happy reading!
