Wots the best way to get a busy tone when calling an extension, should the user be on the phone?

With 2 call appearances.
This means only one CA can accept calls and the second can be used for transfers or conference etc.

You may find what you seek if you reduce the amount of call appearances for the user to 2. Then enable Reserve last CA.

so if i have a 5410, i can only enable 2 x call appearance buttons for it to work? Sorry cant test just yet as i am not at the office.
