Hi,
I am a regular visit to the forum and have learned alot from the forum-you guys are great.
This is my problem. I have been trying to set authority codes for our system and was playing around with the service restriction class.

from 15401>15:7 set to 15401>15:0 to allow for authorization.

I could not make outgoing calls from the Dterm after that(dialing 0 before the called number). The message I get is "Busy OG-Q" . This means Outgoing queuing and the trunk is busy, thats from CM9A.I think all the other lines are also affected.

Question: How can I reset the system so that I can be able to make outgoing calls again after dialing 0?

I have a IPS 2000 with almost 200 analogue stations and a couple of Dterm Seriesi.

Thanking you in advance.

Ariku.

I suggest you set 15401 back to a 7 for now.
Auth codes require LCR and toll restriction assignments. LCR and toll restriction are the two most difficult program assignments and should be done by an experienced tech.
Auth codes are done in CMDs. 2A = code table, 1201 = restriction class, 8AXXX = LCR, 3511 = trunk restriction, 81XX = station to trunk restriction class.

Thank you belevedere for your suggestions, and you're correct, LCR and Toll restriction are not straight forward to program as I thought.
The trunk restriction class in CM1201 are set to 55(semirestrict) for office stations, they were working fine. Anyone could dial 0 and be able to make an outbound call. I have checked CM1202 and CM1207 for service restriction class.
For CM1202 the data reads 1515(for service restriction class A and B).
For CM1207 the data reads 15 for class C.For toll restriction CM3511 I get the following,

3511>00:0
3511>01:3 (the data is the same for each entry of trunk route
here on)

For CM8101 to CM8113, this is what i get.

I'll be delighted if anyone can make sense out of this data and point me to the right direction.
I am still finding my way around the commands and codes etc thanks to you guys.I'm sure someone can help me out of this mess. One more thing. I could also use my Dterm (CAT mode) to check station status. Now I cannot even enter the command code.Help!

Thank you.

Ariku.

I will say that putting Auth codes/Forced Account codes in a system is a tricky procedure commands rely on other commands before allowing the call. From what I am reading you are using 0 as your access to LCR? If that is the case and all you are trying to do is restrict certain phones from ability to dial out then you are on the right track with RSC 5 set for those phones. Command 81 as you have here as an example

8101>1:3- Allowed
8101>2:3-Allowed
8101>3:3-Allowed
8101>4:3-Allowed
8101>5:3-Allowed
8101>6:0-restricted
8101>7:0-restricted
8101>8:0-resricted

8101 is toll restriction pattern
1-8 is your RSC of the phone

I know this may not answer your question.

Thanks Tstelecom for the info. It sure is a bit confusing when you have to move between different commands -and each command relying on yet another command.. My problem is finally solved. Our contractor checked and verified that our trunk was open. And upon checking with the telco we were informed that vandals had damaged underground cables. They have been repaired and everything is working well again after a couple of days. Thanks again for your valuable inputs.I've definitely learned something :-
