Hello. I am having a problem with BusinessObjects and Daylight Savings. The version that my company still uses is no longer supported. I think it's version 2.7.3 (WebIntelligence 2.7.3 UNIX).

BO will not support this version and will not supply a patch. Does anyone know how I can manually adjust for daylight savings time?

The system is an hour ahead (i.e. jobs scheduled to run at 2pm are running at 1pm).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Physically change the clocks on the servers for the next 2 1/2 weeks until "old DST" kicks in. Then set them back to normal time.

You would need to do the same in late October for an extra week.

Not really a fix - just putting "lipstick on the pig" to make it look OK.

Best solution is to migrate to a vendor supported product, but I don't think there is even a migration path for WebI 2.7.3 to XI - only goes back to WebI 5.x

There was no WebI 5.x. WebI 2.7.3 corresponded to BO 5.1.something.

I think you're describing the problem incorrectly. Unpatched systems will run the report 1 hour late.

Just reschedule the jobs or change the clock on the system.
