They certainly keep the standard VI Perform Logic very secret." - This would be of no use to you in creating or understanding VI. Going to class, that would help. Also I would suggest going onto the site and downloading the manuals from 3.71. There is a chapter on VI which is very good. There have been a lot of changes in VI for any module on the 4.XX standard and you would need to go to class or attend one of the conferences to learn about changes.
