Business Element Manager lost entries

I have Business element manager 61.0.1 I entered over 100 entries and lost them the next time I started the utility. Luckally is refered to thread1361-1359831 and made a copy of my work (summary file). I am having an issue with restoring the file, it does not take. everytime I open the element manager the summary.xml file resets to 1kb. Does anyone know how to make the summary file save without resetting back to 1kb ?
 
Make sure you have all the latest cartridges , you should be able to obtain them from the Norvaya web site if you are a pardner.
 
I went down to Business element manager version 60.3.0 and all the cartidges. Then loaded my summary file ok. All is fine so far. Maybe it is version 61.0.1
 
the new version installs in a different location, it's possible you are not putting the summary file into the correct directory.

Old EM install location -

C:\Program Files\Nortel\Business Element Manager\BusinessElementManager

New EM install location -

C:\Documents and Settings\skt\.bcm\BEM

(of course the above references my user profile skt, you would have to replace with your user profile.)

The easiest way to find it is right click your new EM installation icon and then select properties. Click the 'Find Target' button and then double click the BEM folder.
 
Yes, the element manager, the one I was having problems with 61.0.1 was at that loaction C:\Documents and Settings\xyz\.bcm\BEM. You can actually see the Summary.xml file zero out to 1mb when you close the manager. So I deleted that location and added an older version 60.3.0 to the other location which is in c:\properties\business element manager\....
Since then everything is fine. Do not know what the issue was or is.
 
Sorry, the new location is at C:\Program Files\Nortel\Business Element Manager\BusinessElementManager\bin
