Hi,
It is a boatload of factors. Good thing, I also am a project manager at a hospital.
Items to consider are workflow, business process change, policy and procedure changes, training, and the business's adoption.
I'd highly recommend having a couple of one on ones with your project sponsor to assure you are managing the project, and the sponsor is working on driving the business transformation. Collaborating on this early is time well spent.
