Burning/Ripping programs don't recognize both of my CD Drives

For some reason my CD drive and my CD-RW drive AND my Virtual drive cannot be recognized by the programs I have installed: Nero, Open MG, Net MD Simple Burner, Free Rip MP3, Fireburner. I've already tried to reinstall drivers and I know my drives are connected because I can use them to read and the only program that works is Easy CD Creator...

Can anyone offer any help?

You should only ever have one burning program installed as they tend to conflict.....
First uninstall all the burning software on your system, then select the one you want to use, I would recommend Nero but its up to you. Install that and see how you go.. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.

thanks for the advice. but if all else fails i'll do a full system reinstallation

Have you tried reinstalling ASPI on your computer ?

Dowload Blindwrite suite and see if that works, if it does it would tend to point to ASPI problems.
