I have one IPE shelf on one of my switches that 5 analog line cards went bad over the weekend. I tried disabling and enabling the cards, even reseated and they did not work. I put a new card in and that corrected the problem for the subscribers.

What could've possibly caused this? My first thought was lightning, but none of the lightning protectors are blown.

There were on Thursday but these subscribers didn't report the troubles until today.

Did you get any SCH errors when you plugged one of the faulty FALC's back in?. It's a sign that that Lightning had got into the card via one of the FALC ports.

I've had a site that had 3 cards changed out on different slots after bad weather. It's worth finding out if you can get hold of any lightning protectors for the analogue pairs?.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Not unusual. Troubles from lightning sometimes take a while to show themselves.
