On a Definity G3 V10 using Avaya Site Admin, immediately after login, I get a pop up box that says "Switch error:Bulletin Board last modified on 7/29/2003".
Can anyone offer any info into this?

type Disp Bull and see what it says.
There is a bulliten borad function so peopel can leave each other messages if they are doing something.
You might also want to list errors and see what is there.
Do you have remote monitoring on the switch?

I am aware of the bulletin board feature, and if I make any changes to it, it changes the modified date to that day. Are you saying that this popup box is just a notice that a new message has been posted on the board.
The list errors does not show anything. And I don't have any remote monitoring set up.

I think its just a bug... I get the same every time I make a new connection. Just click the OK button and forget about it - unless somebody knows of a patch to fix this.

Must be a bug.
Had the same problem on R10.
Have Multivantage 1.3 now and no more errors.

I'm aware this doesn't really qualify as a patch! :)

It's just a notice that the bulletin board has a message to view. if you go into the change bull command you can erase it if it's not needed and the message won't pop up anymore.
