bulk email software

Im looking for some software to send bulk emails to our mailing list of 30000 on a monthly basis. This is on a windows 2k server and needs to have the ability to allow the user to opt out through a web page. Any suggestions?

I had this same question... and decided to use a web based program rather doing all the work my self.

Check out these two: They both offer unsucribe features, tracking/monitoring, multiple lists, html/text versions, click through reporting, etc.

The second one is what I currently use and I only pay about $30 a month.... ( I send about 20K a month)

Thanks for the reply. I did find an app to run off my machine but it was $1500 (Campaign Enterprise). It has alot of features but this second option you mentioned here, Email Publisher, looks pretty affordable.

Arclab Database Mailer. We have a double-optin list of over 90,000 and it goes rapidly and handles mailings. Scripts to handle unsubscribing, either by flagging the record or deleting it (I do not recommend deleting to avoid false spam allegations), are easily found free via Google.
