We are implementing a true bulk data network to offload the backup traffic from the production VLAN. We currently have only one master server located in Irving, Tx. We have a media server in Memphis but we had problems with Jobs failing after we configured the Bulk data network on the client side.... Our master server here failed out the job with a exit code 41 (Network timeout). This is because our master server here cannot see the BDN in Memphis (We think). How have other customers of your implemented a bulk data network where media servers are in multipls states and on different networks?
Is the answer to make the media server in Memphis a master server (Would also cure the single point of failure issue of having all jobs rely on a single master server)

this is on 6.0 MP3
Sorry about the spelling hehehe

I do not have experience in this area, but as long as the network between the master/media servers and clients is fast enough, you should be able to do it.
