Bulk Company Deletion

I have just imported my data from a txt file into a new ACT database. I did the import a 2nd time to add some more data but ended up duplicating the entire database. Is there a way to bulk delete over 500 companies? I am just trying to avoid hitting ctrl + del and then Yes to delete them 1 by 1.

I also don't want to start again as I have spent ages setting up all the fields.

Help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, not an option in ACT!. You can do it with this add-on:

If you need to re-import and update data in the fields, you need to use itImport:

I did a similar thing and after a year of sorting realized I should just make a new file with a different name and re-import the contacts I wanted in the new file then deleated the database with all the duplicates. Might that work?
