Hello,

Is there a way to bulk update mailboxes in AAM?

I'm looking to change the COS but want to avoid opening each and every mailbox to change this setting.

Thanks,
Joe

Messaging ID Status Type Update description
--------------------------------- ------------ ----- ---------------------------
MSG-00.0.441.0-017_0004 activated cold MSG 7.0 SP 0

I haven't yet tried this. Looking into. Assuming that's the best way?

How do I determine the correct distinguished name?

During the 'Add Messaging System' process there is a step that reads "enter the DN of the entry that serves as the base for all the subscriber entries..." and so on. The default DN is ou=people,dc=avaya (which isn't working, obvoiusly).

It also reads that for CMM 6.0 and 6.0.1 I should change the base DN to 'host=localhost, app=audix,ou=application,dc=messaging'

I've entered the host and tried testing but I get 'No ports available'

It's not a firewall issue as we confirmed that traffic between ASA and Aura Messaging is not blocked.

I'm running CM 7.1

Thanks,
Joe

Maybe someone who's done this on AAM can chime in but I've only done it on CMM. With CMM for example, it's not looking for you standard login info. Mine is working using port 389 and ssl unchecked. With CMM you add your PC's IP addr as "trusted server" with a numeric pwd in the CMM web interface. It's this name and pwd that goes into ASA.

I would mess with the ports, and ssl vs non ssl, and see what config may be needed in the AAM itself such as trusted server or opening up access ports/protocols.
