Hello!
I'm trying to figure a way to build sets of stored procedures and functions from a source database to another either using dts or t-sql.
I do have a list of stored procedures listed in tableA in the source database.
I'm thinking of
1. running my script thru tableA,
2. capture the SPROC name and functions(using sp_depends sprocname?)
3. generate the sql script
4. run the captured script to the destination database.
Currently the build is done manually where in we have to run the script in query analyzer to update the sprocs. It would be nice if there would be a better way of doing this.
Thanks.
