I need to find a front-end tool for connecting to SQL Server 7.0 databases that can be accessed by Macintosh and PC users. I am thinking of using FoxPro because it is available on both platforms.

I have several questions relating to this strategy:

1. Is it possible to run a FoxPro project created on a PC on a Macintosh computer running FoxPro.
2. Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of
3. Has anyone tried this approach.

I would be very grateful for any views or comments on this subject.
Thankyou
Since no one has jumped in, I'll take a shot, though I am not a Mac user.
You couldn't use the EXE or APP you generated in the Windows version on the Mac; you would have to rebuild the APP in FoxPro/Mac (though you probably knew this). The project file and the associated program files would be usable on the Mac, assuming we are talking about compatible versions.

I know there are some commands/functions/features for the Mac version which are ignored in the Windows version (such as ON APPABOUT), and I am sure there are reverse examples as well. Generally speaking, there should be few instances where you would have to make code changes.
I have not done this, nor do I know anyone who has..sorry.
