I have a computer and want to upgrade but want to use some of the hardware I already have to cut costs.

I have a PIII 1400MHz processor. What does anyone think about dual processors, Good/Bad/Why? Such as should I try and go with two pentium 3's or just one fast pentium 4?

And also do the two processors have to be exactly the same or can they be a P4 and a P3, or maybe two P3's but diffrent speeds, such as a 1400Mhz and a 1000Mhz?

Second question is, does the FSB or Front Side Bus mean the bus speed from the CPU to the memory? and if so how much of a diffrence does this when I am selecting this? Such as the example (3200 processor @ FSB 400/333/266)

Lastly, I also have a 64MB g-force video card, is it overkill to get a 128MB card or will this make a large diffrence, or just keep what I have? Do not do high intensity graphic editing if that helps?

Thank you very much for all the help.
Much appreciated.

For dual processors they need to be the same type , speed and stepping rate. FSB depends on the processor, motherboard and memory. The speed you see will depend somewhat on the quality of the parts you use. As for the video, if you play games it will make a difference which card you get but if you don't the card you have will suffice.

i would go with a single chip p4. it does make some difference what fsb speed you are running at but higher speeds can cost a bit more especialy with amd chips. as far as the video card 64mb is low end for games these days.
