CAn Anyone help me? I need to build some microsoft MSI setup files so I can use Group Policys in Active directory to roll out software, I woudl firstly like to do this with Acrobat reader. Do I need any special software to do this??

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Rob

Use the WinInstall utility (a Veritas product) located on the Svr. CD, under \valueadd\3rdparrt\mgmt\winstle

1.Install on a clean PC
2.Open the Veritas Discover utility and follow the prompts. This will have you creating a 'before' snapshot.
3.Open the utility again, and create your 'after' snapshot.
4.In Group Policy Editor, create a GP object, edit it, and place the entry for your MSI file under Software Settings.

Should work just fine,
