I need to build a hunt group in the switch for numbers 4201, 5201 and 6201 on one phone hunting then to 4205, 5205 and 6205 on another phone. They are using keys 3, 4 and 5 on both 3904 phones, key 0 belongs to the individual with voicemail, switch is option 11c. Not sure of which ld to use or what commands to enter.

wronge post, your looking for group hunt not group call, it is also in 18

Ok, i've written all six numbers to hunt group 21, do I need to change any classes on the sets? Right now I get a busy to the second number when the first is in use.

I should mention that numbers 5201 and 6201 as well as 5205 and 6205 are phantoms, still can't get it to roll over from first phone to the second.

You have 2 phones, each phone has 3 ext on them and if the 1st phone is busy you want then to hunt to the other phone and vise verser.????

I have two phones, 4201, 5201, 6201 on phone #1, 4205, 5205 6205 on phone #2. I want to hunt in this order 4201,5201,6201,4205,5205,6205. When the first three are busy on phone #1 it should roll over to phone #2, 5201 6201, 5205 and 6205 are phantoms.

you have to build a hunt group pilot number and call that, for short hunt i use cls hta and hunt xxxx and just chain that station to station

On Phone 4201 make HUNT 4205 LHK 2.

The LHK trick will not work because the numbers are on keys 3,4 and 5 on both phones. Key 0 has my persons unique phone number for herself and voicemail. So do I use 4201 as the pilot number? I don't get prompted for a PLDN, I must not be entering the proper commands.

Been fighting this all day, I have two phones, 4201 key 3, 5201 key 4, 6201 key 5 on phone #1, 4205 key 3, 5205 key 4, 6205 key 5 on phone #2. I want to hunt in this order 4201,5201,6201,4205,5205,6205. When the first three are busy on phone #1 it should roll over to phone #2, 5201 6201, 5205 and 6205 are ghost numbers. Number 4201 is a DID that all outside calls will come in on, key 0 on each phone is the individuals number with voicemail. I would like to build a hunt pattern in the switch but I haven't been able to with all the instructions so far. I have built a hunt group with all 6 numbers stored 0-5, but it will not roll over to 4205 when 4201,5201 and 6201 are in use.

Could someone please elaborate on the lhk? How does one modify the TN or ? to create the hunt to the next extension? Secondarily, how does one place a call appearance on another set's button for the other extensions one is creating in the hunt group?

Thanks in advance!

LHK (Last Hunt Key) refers to short hunting. The call hunts up the keys until it reaches a feature key, an unassisgned key or the Last Hunt Key (LHK).

What overlay would one use to do what John posted previously? How does one set cls hta and hunt?

thanks, as always.
Alan
