Buffer Storage Space Full !

Hi All,

I use TM but its not collecting fully.

I have an idea that one of the reasons is because of the below

=> STAT BUF
CDR ENL
TRF ENL
STN DIS
Storage space is 95.3% full
Connected to 1XX.XX.XX.XXX

How do I clear this?!

Problem Description on a 04.50w system
----------------------------------
DBA has been configured on OTM to collect CDR info. If we use the STAT BUF command in LD 117 the CDR buffer never shows less than 96.5% full.

When STAT BUF is entered we are seeing the following response:

Storage space is 96.5% full
Connected to 172.18.18.200

We are also seeing IOD365 alarm listed in history file which may indicate LAN failure although there is no indication that this is the case. The Field engineer has also observed IOD366-IOD370 alarms indicating buffer overflow and reset.

I have checked smp_db in pdt and there multiple files dating back to February, so it looks like these are not being deleted, these are listed in the attachment.


This patch mplr20359 for 04.50W will delete all DBA files that are greater than 3 days old.
The patch will do this one of two different ways:
- Automatically every hour after task tDbaFile was initiated, in other words, automatically in 60 minute intervals.
- Manually by loading overlay 117 and using the command "stat buf".

The option 11's, for some reason, always show full

Storage space on c: is 100.0% full
Connected to...(I still get all of my traffic and CDR though)

On the larger systems I have rarley seen any storage space used.

Have you tried restarting the DBA in TM, or try rebooting TM and it should reconnect.
When you lose the connection you will get an IOD365 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx from a terminal window, and once the connection re-establishes you will see a IOD370

Check for network connectivity between the PBX and TM... it's possible there could be a network, subnetting and/or routing issue (I've seen it before). Double-check your IP, subnet and gateway IP addresses on the PBX. Can you ping the PBX from TM and vice versa? Did your IT dept change anything on the network and didn't tell the phone guy?

I think my network team changed something. I keep getting errors from DBA from the site stating "FTP connection failed".
