Hi,

Is there any parameters that we can modify in NetWorker on windows in order to increase the amount of datas ?? It means some variables of buffer or cache, that receive datas and when the deadline is reached, all datas in the buffer (or cache) will go in the device.
Is it possible to do that with NetWorker ?

Thanks,

Marc

I think what you are looking for is called "automatic staging" in NW terms. It will save to disk (so-called (advanced) file device) and them move the save to tape later).

If you talk about RAM, NW does not have this capability.

If you mention the block size, this is done indirectly by choosing the device type. You should not manipulate it.

Thanks,

I think that indirectly some variables are manipulated under the staging feature and theses variables can't be modify for customize.

Best regards,

Marc

This is not the case, for sure.

You can change the parameter NSR_DEVICE_BUFFER_SIZE.
