BTRV error - Failed to access...

I received the following error when trying to merge:
BTRV Failed to access: SYS:\ARCSERVE\DATABASE\ASJOB.DB, 3 Attempting to: Close File
File Not Open

The merge appears to continue, but after 8 hrs of running (and this error appearing again) the job was cancelled (manually).

Recreating/restarting the job causes E1034 and E1052 Failed to access media/tape respectively, errors.

Any ideas?! Help!

We're running Arcserve 7 for NetWare.

I'm having the same problem with ASJOB.DB corruption using Netware 5.1 and Arcserve 7.

I'm in the same boat with Arcserve 7 On Netware 6. I have a e-mail in with Computer Associates.

You may need to perforance tune Btrieve. Check out the following for tuning BTI.CFG (Pervasive SQL 7/2000)

Section A for Performance tunning and Section B to start with a fresh database as there may be corruption.
