Hi,
I have an Ipecs MFIM 50a, with BT whc sip trunks.

The dummy number on the sip works with calls coming in and able to make calls out.
The problem I am having is that the ported numbers onto the sip will not work.
BT have tested and said that the PBX is returning 404 not found and that the pbx needs re configuring.

What do I need to change for this, most changes I have tried stops the sip from ringing out.

Hi

Try the following:

A) Equipment will only use the primary BT SBC IP address so will not provide automatic failover to the secondary.

B) PAID header should not be used therefore different Presentation and Network CLIs cannot be sent on a call by call basis.

C) Equipment does not specify Invite header request user=phone, ELG to correct in future software update

are the sip trunks registration based ie are you using a user name and password to authenticate or is it ip based ?

PGM 126 - 10 - Is this set to MSN & DID or DID conversion? Take note of how many digits in 12.

If MSN & DID, PGM 202, enter your range, and confirm you have the numbers programmed
If DID only, PGM 231, enter your last x (value of 12 above) digits and confirm you have ring assignment programmed

If you setup a dummy number, and confirmed this was working, then returned another day to complete porting, the MSN/DID tables may not be programmed meaning when you are trying to call the number, carrier sends SIP Request through, system returns 404 no number found and client gets busy tone/call failed.

This is the starting point for me, but being aussie, BT may do things a bit differently. KISS (Keep it simple stupid) is my methology.
