Quick general questions, which server/servers does the disaster recovery option actually get loaded onto? The server that backs up the servers or the servers that get backed up?

Does anyone know a good guide for this on the net, I dont seem to be able to find one?

Thank you,

Paul.

Disaster Recovery Option gets loaded on to the server that does that backups ONLY.

Not on the inidividual servers that get backed up soooo..

Scenario 1:

My backup server backs up 10 servers.

I need 1 x DRO installed on the backup server only.

This will protect the other 10 servers as well as its self with DR.

I find the Disaster Recovery guide that comes with the software a good read to clear things up on the DR path, but in answer to your question i don't know of any other document other than the standard documentation. Sometimes the Tech document index on the CA support site has some useful tid bits and information.

Cheers,

G
