bst doorphone woes

avaya bst doorphone rl 2

bcm 50 6.0

have a new doorphone.

Tried everything, different ports on system, swapped out doorphone,rebooted, i mean i tried everything but it is not working properly.
The button lights up but not the full bright red that it should.

The system sees it as an active set and it is set to doorphone, but i do not get the extra tab for doorphone programming that i should.

I am going to patch it up to date but before i do was wondering if anyone else has run into this?

so i am an absolute idiot , i was plugging it into internal digital station ports , ports which i did not have any more licenses for
