Hi all,

I am at a lost here. I have 5 BSR 222 that I have installed with one being the Core router and the other connecting back via ABOT tunnels. The tunnels reset ever 15-45 mins. They were working for about a month or two and know no luck. Anybody out have there have some 222s working and would help out I would appreciate it.

I'm using a few BSR222 routers as edge routers with 1750s at the core. The first obvious question would be how stable is the Internet connection at your core? I'm assuming you have a static IP address at the core if not at all the endpoints as well.

Cheers!

Please note, that BSR 222 drop IPSec VPN after 2 minutes, if there is no incoming traffic in this tunnel.
You may try to check Nailed-Up on VPN page in BSR: if tunnel goes down it will try to restore automatically in less than second.

I have them Nailed-UP. I also telneted into the router and disabled all the timers.

I have just built the tunnels with the ips address instead of the 0.0.0.0 so now they have been stable. They just have to call me if the reboot the router or the lease times up. But so far no porblems.

Next step is to order static ips for all the remote locations.
