BSM Notes no incrementals 1

I am trying to figure out how to run incrementals. We currently backup around 140GB of mail. That is a lot of data to backup daily. Some posts state that transaction logging must be enabled and that is done.

The log files are in another directory, do i need to modify the nsrnote.bat script?

Hi,

normaly you don´t have to change the nsrnote.bat. Full are defined with the schedule. If you want to drive incrementals you have to define an incremental schedule.
Domino has to be configured that it uses transaction logs.

Found out that in Notes, the transaction logging MUST be set to archival. If this is not set then incremental backups will not work.

We made the change on the Notes server and ran a successful incremental backup!
