I was getting a BSD90 message, I stat the system monitor and received PWR00 on column 0 and PWR13 on column 1, 2, and 3. I disabled tty 0 and reenabled it but still got the same pwr message on those columns. PWR13 on the NTP says it might be a bad system monitor. If it is, can anyone tell me how to replace this?

Thanks in advance.

the system monitor card is in the rear of the cab on the ped. if you disconnect the silver satin, then you can unplug it. carefull it has a ribbon cable you can't see.. once it;s out MATCH the switch settings and putit back in, then put the two silver satins back in.. btw mess that one up and the switch goes down

Is the ribbon cable connected to the system monitor that I have to replace?
I thought the shelf light indicator should turn on if the system monitor is bad.

Do I have to disable the tty first before pulling out the system monitor?

We disable tty 0 before pulling out any system monitor card. TTY 0 in our case has the main monitor board and by disabling this it takes all others out of commision. However you never know and you may want to do during off peak hours.

you may get problems with the monitors on the other columns after replacing the main XSM, if you do, just reseat them one at a time to clear.
