Hi,

last night I received an error in Exchange backup process.

During Information Store backup, after backing up storage group "Grupo 4", it restarted and finished ok.

It's a cluster who acts as Storage Node to three tape drives.

Is there any bug related?

Networker version?
Exchange module version?
xbsa.messages tells about "bad network hardware"
Is there any error in windows log?

Exchange Module: 4.1

In the EventViewer you can only view errors related to VSS feature which have failed in the backup process. They are really the same than errors which show daemon.log above.

I have tried changing StartTime in both groups to avoid overlapping. Tomorrow at this time I'll succeed in verifyng the results. I'll keep you updating!

In my opinion I think I got the point.

We have two groups:

WindowsFiles
Exchange

Both groups have a lot of information so they overloaded the fiber switch (they share three tapes in a Storage Node layout).

I dedided to take apart both executions.

Grupo Start End

Exchange group won't retry and works out without any errors.

I am not completely sure about this, but anyway it is a good action plan with a good result.

I have not received any answer from Legato Support.

I succeed in solving it by means of separating the StartTime in both groups, as I wrote before. From then I have not had any problem.

I have had similar error msgs like this one ... and it was license issue with the exchange module.
