Hello Nortel-freaks,
I need to know whether poor-man's stacking between two BS420 is possible with using only one cascading cable.
I have two devices here that do not form a stack correctly and I fear it is because I use only one cable.
The devices are using the following Software:
HW: # 21 FW: 3.1.0.5 SW: 3.1.0.04
On the first device the base unit select button on the right side of the front-panel is pressed.
The LEDs for the according Cascade-cable-connection are lit.
But the Base-LED on the first device does not come up, nor does the configuration adapt to a stack.
With "show hardware unit" only one device is visible.
I checked already with a 3. spare BS420 with same results.
Does anybody know how I can check my config further
and if I really need a second cable to deal out a base-unit ?
Thank You in advance
Wini
