Hi
I cannot browse my network from my second domain controller. I have a 3Com 24 Port 10/100 switch. I am running Windows 2000 server with about 15 clients running Win2000 Pro. I use RJ-45 cables. I can at times ping the server and get responses, however I cannot browse via Network Neighbourhood. If I use network neighbourhood i have to browse by IP's. Everytime I try to browse the network via \\servername, i get the error - "logon failure: the target machine name is unavailable." The clients on the network however can ping the PDC without any problems as well as the second domain controller in question.
Here is the thing, i do not have any errors being logged within my event viewers, however the only warning i am logging is that license logging warning where it states that the file replication failed between the two servers because the PDC could not be contacted.
Everytime i try to print from the machine in question i get the error the "RPC is unavaliable".
Someone please help, any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
