Browsing and select files take for ever

I am trying to restore GroupWise 7.0.1 Post office, and browsing time is a couple days ago, and it takes for ever to select Post office folder, there is about 80GB data

Hi,

known problem with 7.2.x client..i expect you use the 7.2.x client ?

Pls go to options before selectiong and change to "7.2 only", select "/" again to close bworsing and press enter again to open browsing

I am trying to restore the whole post office, and it is really slow, 87 GB data, and now it is 24hours, and 59GB has been restored, and still going, and it also affact the performance of GroupWise server.

Hm.... from which medium are you reading ?
Tape or Disk ? Is the data on tape multiplexed ?

If you have a clone, its maybe faster to read from the clone !

Unfortunatly you will have no other change then waiting.
