Browser issue with Yahoo Mail

I can load yahoo login in sreeen in IE8 Or Firefox but when I log in to the email account and ask to show mail ( from Yahoo) I get a white screen. I have run CCleaner to clear up things It has the latest Java and Flash updates. I notice this after the computer had a upgrade from XP sp2 to sp3. But this may not be the issue as update are always applied.

Is the date and time correct on your computer?

Can you access it if you boot in to "Safe Mode with Networking"?

Bronan it has the same problem on all account on this machine only.

Time and date correct. Thanks for the links I seen most of them looking for a solution. It interstering the problem has been around for years.

Both computer are HP this one is using mcAfee (the one with the problem). This computer is a work and has to go through a firewall. But I also running a hrdware fire wall at home (simple one) Cleaned cookies and temp files again. still a problem for BOTH browsers. On the yahoo screen you can view account details OK. but when you click mail it goes to a white blank screen with done down the botton.
I read that there maybe an active-x problem (2 year old Forum) If this issue has been around for years there should be more on searches or yahoo site.

Maybe you should consider uninstalling McAfee and then testing Yahoo Mail?

What was the result from "Safe Mode with Networking"?

The problem is netware is loading in the login script.
