Browser error in scrip on page

Hello....

Can anyone help me solve the problem of my browser sending me the message : " Error In The Script of Page " ....

it also leaves this : Line:12, Char -1, error- object,
code- 0 and url = file://C:\x.htm


ever since this has been happening pages have either been coming in slow or images not coming in complete.

I am using Win XP and Internet Explorer....

any help greatly appreciated......thx

Checkmark "Disable Script Debugging (Other)"
Un-checkmark "Display a notification about every script error"

The reference to a local file C:\x.htm suggests that you have some malware on your system:

Scan with RAV and see if a cleanup of this virus can be done:
