hi,
i have made 2 version of this page and used the "browser check" from DW4 {netscape doesn't like table backgrounds). problem is, when the page loads in netscape, it first shows the ie version, (not pretty!!) and then ssllllo brings up the netscape version. look at it with ie then netscape at thanks for your time!

Hi Missplume,

To quote the Microsoft "Inside Dynamic HTML" book :-

"The onload event fires when the entire document is parsed and all elements are loaded."

Hope this helps explain what is happening.

Cheers

John

Why not use a redirect page that only has the browser check on it? I dont want to go to Chelsea!!!

Thanks every one, I think I like Cheech's idea!
