Strange issue when I go to my computer broswer and browse my entire domain I only see a handful of computers. Looks like the same computer each day I try. i do not even see mine.

Some of the workstations or server are even at a remote site.

Are there any special ports that need to be open for browsing the network to function correctly?

I dont even know where to begin to troubleshoot this. Any ideas would be great.

Saw this issue in the NT 4 days. Yes, there are ports that need to be opened (NetBIOS), but most internal networks don't have these ports blocked. The Browse Host Announcement uses port: netbios-dgm(138). You may have to enable NetBIOS (if you have it disabled). In the NT 4 Days, we would just stop and restart the Browser Service on the PDC - which would fix the issue. Under Window2003 it is the computer browser service.
