Brooktrout SR140 and 3300 ICP

Has anyone used the Brooktrout SR140 software fax solution with a Mitel 3300? Hopefully, with success.

We are considering using the SR140 instead of the Brooktrout TR1034 since we can use the SR140 in a virtual machine.

The enterprise fax solution is by Omtool.

We used Brooktrout fax boards and the Faxback software without success. The driver kept unloading itself and we would have to re-detect the fax devices on a regular basis. So I guess our problem was not in whether it would work with the 3300 but rather...getting it to work at all.

Prior to the Brooktrout boards we used Mainpine boards but the dtmf sent by the 3300 to the fax boards was too fast for the mainpine to handle.

We are now using an AudioCodes MP-114 FoIP Gateway and Faxback, we've had a lot of success with that. It basically takes care of itself now.
