I have 1 PDC and 3 BDC all winnt4 sp6, and 20 win98 computers.
Latly I have disabled the file and printer sharing on all my 98 clients therefor when I click on network neighberhood icon (on the 98)I can see only by PDC (before I could see all the clients and the servers)
My question is how can see by BDC computers now ??

can you ping the BDC by name and IP. Remember that it can take up to 45 mins for the Master Browser (PDC) to send the browse list to the 98 clients. THis does not stop you using the BDC's.

there is no problem pinging all the computers by name and IP
and even from the NT serversdouble clicking the network icon shows only the PDC and this is going on for a few days now.

what happens when you use the net view command from command prompt of your 98 PC??? can you see the list of all the pc's and bdc's on your network?
