Broadcast Storm

Hi,

I found a device that is doing Broadcast Storm, is there a way to contain it. I can't just unplug it, it's being used for Cat Scan.
When the Broadcast Storm happens, it causes the line between the two buildings to bounce.

The first thing I would try is to try to contain it at the device level. Is there any way to configure this device not to broadcast? Will it affect its fuctionality?

The next thing I would do is stick a router or a level3 switch in between this device and your backbone, this should also contain it.
