I am trying to test port security on a Cisco 2950 switch. In order to do that I need a tool to generate a broadcast storm on the switch. I want to determine what combination of commands will work to block a storm. I can't just put port security on all the ports on the switch because we use controlled broadcasts on a regular basis. Does anyone know of a tool that preferably runs on Windows that can cause a storm?

Hi,
iperf is the best tool under Windows for stress testing regading storm control. Create a static ARP mapping for a IP to the MAC FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF to test controlled broadcasts at layer two with your Cisco 2950.
