Does anyone know what is the maximum number of users that i can have in a hunt group when using it for broadcast. I currently have 60 members in one and everytime i broadcast it STOPS the VMAIL service. I am running 3.2.54 Admin and 3.2.28.4 VMail. Is their a work around that i can use to make this work? Thank You all.....

I dont' know how many you can have but if it doesn't work that way, i would forward there voicemail to a group email account, containing all the group members email addresses. That way you don't drag down the voicemail server whenever you get one voicemail for that group.

Thank you for your help i really appreciate it. But when you say foward a message to an email account. How or where do you record the message so you can foward it.

First you would make a group on exchange and add all you hunt group members email address to that group. Then under the hunt group voicemail tab you would put in that group email address you just created. Then select the forward option under that. I think ypi have to have the voicemail to email box checked on the right hand side of the page. Now whenever that group gets left a message it will forward it to all of the email addresses you have in that group, freeing up your vm server a little bit because the message isnt left in every hunt group members voicemail box, it is in everyones email.

gknight1 Thank You very much. I will defenitly try that. sounds like a very good option

Just curius, why would you want every one to get the message, wouldn't that cause confusion when calling that one person back who left a mesage?

its for one of my customers, he is the IT director. For some reason he uses this feature to broadcast announcements, for meetings and stuff that does'nt require any replies. This worked fine until his announcement group grew from about 30 users to 60 users. The problem is he is one of those customers who wont take a "NO that might not work" for an answer. LOL
