We have an unusual request here for some patient observation carts we are looking to deploy. Basically the cart will be equipped with a camera and an SIP intercom (StentoFon). If the remote observer detects the patient is attempting to get out of bed, or is tugging at an IV or doing something else deemed detrimental, we want the observer to be able to connect through to the intercom via 9611 at the observer station so they can instruct the patient to hang tight while they send someone to the room. This should be easy to accomplish with some auto dial buttons on a side car or something. The problem we have is when the patient and observer speak different languages. We would like to have some canned announcements in several different languages, “stay in bed, help is on the way” for example, the observer can then broadcast through the speaker via a single button press. Any thoughts?
