Bring up network interface automatically?

Hi just wondering if anyone has hack or is aware for a way to bring up eth0 automatically? once the net cable is on the interface, instead of doing it always manually... thanks.

Hehe .. no prob.. just wrote a simple perl script to do it thanks daver..
