2 independant servers, both running Win 2K SP3, Exchange 2K, with Brightstor Arcserve 9.0. Over the past 2 months we have managed to get less than 10% complete backups. The typical result (the remaining 90% of the time) is a crash message in the job status window with the job being placed on hold. At the time the crash message is generated, all services are and remain running and no warnings or errors are written to the Arcserve database or the MS Event logs. The crash occurs at various times during the backup, sometimes while backing up the registry, more frequently while doing the bricks level. If during the bricks level it may crash after the first 2 or 3 mailboxes or after the first 100.
