Brightstor Arcserve Jobs Failing with no errors

WE are running Brightstor arcserve 11.5 sp4 and we are getting some jobs failing with no errors. there are no errors in any log on the servers or backup servers or even in the activity log. anyone have any ideas

Try putting the Job Engine into Debug mode and then check the activity log. It might be a problem with the job. I'd say try creating a new job to see if it happens but it looks like there is a lot to this job making it a pain to recreate.
 
We did try that and found nothing wrong. we even tried taking a job that works and just changed the server it was backing up and saved it and ran it, same error.
 
check the log directory for a jobqueue log, but it can be hard to tell from that since it has a lot of informational messages that look like errors.

So does this only happen when backing up a particular server? Check to see if the client agent has been updated with SP4.
 
ok thanks will check that.

it is 2 different servers out of several hundred in different environments and different backup servers that have no link between them
