I have 3 questions re. the Mitel 3300 ICP. These pertain to PSTN ISDN trunks (not QSIG).

1) How many PRI supported on NFAS?
2) Does it support 2B channels transfer?
3) When doing call forwarding, does it send out redirecting number in the ISDN SETUP message?

thanks!

I can answer 2 and 3 with confidence. 1 is 90% certainty

1 - 47 Channels. I cannot find this number but the Mitel hardware that runs PRI's are designed to conect to a maximum of 2 PRI's each. There are no facilities that I know of the allow communication between these units (NSU's) thus 47 is the MAX (I could be wrong though)

2 - YES - Two B-Channel Transfer (TBCT) is a feature that allows you to transfer an external call to another external destination and have the two external parties connected through the trunks at the Central Office (CO).

3 - YES and No. The system is configurable as to whether the original calling party number is forwarded along with the call or if the calling number is the local system handing the call. This is because some Telco's do not allow foreign Caller ID to be sent. This question needs to be asked of the Telco as well.
